UTAH PRIDE CENTER
THE SITUATION
When the pandemic forced the Utah Pride Center to cancel their annual Pride Festival, they were met with both a financial crisis and a public perception crisis. After all, who is the Utah Pride Center without the Pride Festival? Our challenge was to help the public understand that the Utah Pride Center is more than an annual party that takes place every June, and that the life-saving programs and services deserved the publics continued support.
THE SOLUTION
Develop a PR strategy that would better inform the target audience of the programs and services offered at the Utah Pride Center, increase online engagement, increase social media following, and gain positive media attention.
RESULTS
1 - Social media followers more than doubled from 2020 to 2021.
2 - Earned close to 100 positive placements in the local news media.
3 - Put on the first Pride Road Rally in 2020 and the Utah Pride Story Garden in 2021, which earned enough in donations to stay open.
DIGICERT
THE SITUATION
DigiCert is a cybersecurity company, providing scalable TLS/SSL, and PKI solutions for identity and encryption for web servers and other devices. With such high-profile clients, DigiCert wanted to update their social media crisis management plan. Our challenge was to provide a strategy to address new threats online by way of their social media platforms.
THE STRATEGY
Perform research that would inform us of current and potential threats to the client via social media and craft strategies to manage any situation that may occur.
RESULTS
Delivered a complete crisis management plan that addressed specific scenarios that have or may occur in the world of tech via social media platforms.
